Introduction to Restorative Practice

Responding to harm by repairing relationships

Restorative practice (RP) places people and repairing relationships at the heart of its response to conflict. It is an evidence- based approach that is increasingly being used in schools and with families as well as the justice system to support healing after harm. This short introductory session will explain more about what RP is, the values and principles involved and where the approach can be used – it is relevant for anyone who wants to know more about alternative responses to dealing with conflict and harm.
