To enable professionals to feel confident talking to Adolescents

Target Group: Group 2-4 This briefing session is specifically targetted at YOS staff, Young Peoples Teams and Early Help Youth Support Services

Aims & Objectives: By the end of this ½ day briefing,  participants will  

  • have a basic understanding of the adolescent brain
  • be more able to identify adolescent behaviours
  • have better skills in listening and talking to adolescents
  • know what makes good listening
  • understand empathic listening
  • know how to ask open questions
