To disseminate learning points and information from Child Safeguarding Reviews both nationally and within Greenwich as well as national research on SCR by OFSTED and the London Safeguarding Children Partnerships

An interactive on-line workshop to support professionals during the COVID-19 pandemic and beyond

Target Group: Groups:  3 - 5  Members of the workforce who work predominantly with children, young people and/or their parents/carers and who could potentially contribute to assessing, planning, intervening and reviewing the needs of a child and parenting capacity where there are safeguarding concerns

Aims & Objectives: By the end of this half day on-line workshop, the participants will:

  • Have considered the importance of effective inter-agency working in the context of safeguarding children; 
  • Have considered what can happen when existing mechanisms or protocols for safeguarding children are not followed
