In this Train the Trainer session, Tavistock Relationships will provide practitioners with the skills an materials needed to deliver the Practitioner sessions within their own teams and organisations to enable Reducing Parental Conflict awareness and skills set to reach out to many more practitioners and agencies and for this to be sustained over time with training sessions being delivered in the future so that new team members can access the material more efficiently.
Please see below content for the session that practicioners will be trained to deliver themselves:
Trainers will be required to deliver 2 half day sessions within 12 months after completing the course. This can be within your own team/s or organisation or to any other teams/organisation as appropriate who would benefit from the training.
Practitioner training sessions content:
You wiil be support to deliver an Introductory workshop to Reducing Parental Conflict, which will focus on:
- Thinking about co-parents in conflict
- evidence overview
- parental conflict and domestic abuse/violence,
- distinguishing between the two,
- practice development,
- children’s views and how to have relationship quality conversations.
Please seek agreement from your line manager/supervisor before registering for this course. Trainers will be expected to arrange training sessions themselves. Support can be be provided by the GSCP for this if requested.
