During this 1-day programme we will cover the following areas:
- What is neglect and why is it important that we understand and know how to recognise it?
- What does research tell us?
- What are some of the key causes of neglect?
- What are the key consequences of neglect?
- How can we help and support families?
- How can we safeguard children and young people, including teenagers (often a ‘neglected’ group)?
