- Undertaking a SafeLives DASH RIC risk assessment.
- When and how to make a MARAC referral.
- Advice and guidance routes on referrals.
- Presenting at the MARAC, assisting with action planning and how to feedback on actions after the meeting.
Aims & Objectives: The aim of this half day session is:
- To give participants the knowledge, skills, and understanding needed to effectively follow the Multi-Agency Risk Assessment Conference (MARAC) process.
- To increase participants’ confidence and ability to refer into the MARAC, and they will gain a comprehensive understanding of their role and responsibilities within the MARAC process.
- Participants will learn how to undertake a risk assessment appropriately and sensitively.
Please note that, whilst this training covers some knowledge of Domestic Violence & Abuse, this is not a Domestic Violence & abuse awareness training
Target Group: Any professional providing any service to members of the public. This training is suitable for professionals at all levels (not just frontline practitioners)
