Detail:
Join us this Young Carers Day for a focused lunchtime briefing exploring how we can better identify and support both young carers and young adult carers, and how we can work together to promote equality, early support, and smoother transitions into adulthood.
This session will bring together voices from across the system, including:
-
Children’s Services – why early identification matters and what our statutory duties mean in practice
-
Imago – putting young carers in focus, the power of early support, and how schools and professionals can help
-
Greenwich Carers Centre & Mobilise – supporting young people through the transition to adulthood and beyond
We’ll close with a panel Q&A and shared reflections on what more we can do, individually and collectively, to ensure young carers are seen, supported, and given equal opportunities to thrive.
Bring your lunch, and leave with one action to take forward!
